The 2008 Audi Q7 is both innovative and reliable, with several new features that offer luxury as well as safety. Impressive new features include the Q7’s available Advanced Key, which automatically unlocks the door as the driver approaches, and there’s also an Adaptive Cruise Control, which ranges from 0 to 90 mph.
The 2008 Q7 offers several standard safety features, including dual front and side curtain airbags. Its keyless entry remote includes unlock, remote tailgate opening, panic function, interior lights and alarm system activation, and all controls are integrated in folding ignition key. The Q7, though sleek, is designed with the family in mind. It comes standard with child safety windows and child-protector rear door locks.
Dark-tinted privacy glass and black-trimmed roof rails add to the attractive look of this SUV, while a comprehensive storage system make it more practical.
Interior comfort is provided by the 2008 Audi Q7’s dual-zone climate control and power-adjustable lumbar controls for the driver and front passenger seats. The Q7 also comes standard with an AM/FM system with 6-disc in-dash changer. Other options include satellite radio capabilities and an Audi audio system and BOSE surround sound. DVD navigation also is available.
Audi includes a multi-information display in each Q7, including clock with date, tachometer and speedometer, fuel gauge, coolant temperature and various other indicators. It rides behind a 3.6-liter engine with 280-horse power, or if the driver wants more steam, a 4.2-liter engine with 356-horse power.
Features like the Q7’s available four-zone climate control that lets each passenger select a comfort level without interrupting other occupants proves the Q7 is among a new breed of vehicles.
Audi’s 2008 Q7 is an SUV that combines technology, style and reliability, and is likely to be one of the most appealing models this year.
