The new look of fast – that’s one description of the new 2008 BMW 135i Coupe. Its chrome-plated exhaust tips and Xenon headlights add to the cosmetics of this model, but the whole package really shows there’s more behind this sporty exterior.
The ‘08 BMW 135i Coupe definitely has power. The V6 engine shells out 300-horse power and uses a six-speed, manual transmission, making it feel even sportier on the road. The 135i also uses a sport suspension calibration.
Interior comfort is provided with this BMW’s automatic climate control with filtration, and 8-way adjustable front seats, with 2-way headrests. The interior also includes leatherette upholstery and Gray Poplar Wood trim, making it a beautiful car inside and out. It’s smart, too, with pre-wiring for BMW installation of the available CD/MP3 player and satellite radio. Other audio options include the antitheft AM/FM stereo system with 10 speakers.
The sporty 135i is safe as well, with a tire pressure monitoring system, which has an on-board computer that provides feedback of the vehicle’s operating status. This keeps the driver informed and in doing so, his mind is at ease on the longest trips.
If an accident happens, this BMW has a crash sensor that lets other drivers know when the car has been involved in an accident, and if help is needed. Children are kept a priority with the LATCH system, which includes attachments for child restraints in the rear seats.
Features like the 135i Coupe’s Dynamic Cruise Control, which adjusts to traffic patterns, show that this BMW is ahead of the rest when it comes to technology and safety.
BMW’s 2008 135i Coupe is sleek, safe and technologically-advanced, making it likely to be a high-demand buy for BMW buyers this year.
