While the 2008 Buick Enclave CXL starts out with a price tag of $35,190, it leaves even the most savvy vehicle aficionado wondering how Buick could produce such a feature packed model at such an affordable cost. To be sure, no detail was left overlooked by the engineers of this four door sport utility vehicle.
First and foremost, the 2008 Enclave CXL has power to spare. With 275 horsepower at 6,6000 rotations per minute and a 3.6 liter DOHC Variable Valve Timing V6 engine, it’s spunky enough to propel the driver ahead of just about anyone else on the road. A four wheel independent premium ride suspension keeps the CXL easy to handle and full range traction control makes sure each tire grips the road properly.
On all wheel drive (AWD) mode Buick’s ‘08 CXL will get 16 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon on the open road of the highway. When switched to four wheel drive (FWD) mode, the number increases slightly to 16 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.
With plenty of room for up to seven passengers, the CXL makes a stylish and hip minivan replacement or a great car for young up and comers who are always on the go. Second row captain’s chairs ensure those in the backseat don’t feel like second rate travelers and four way power front passenger seat give the copilot nearly as much control and comfort as the person sitting to the left.
Finally, standard features like Buick’s exclusive QuietTuning reduces, absorbs and blocks vibration and noise while the 2008 Buick Enclave CXL is in motion. As a result, the interior cabin is as a pleasure to be in, even when the road conditions are rough.
