Out of all of the 10 different models available this year, the 2008 Buick LaCrosse CX is the most affordable. With a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $24,100, this vehicle gets consumers more bang for their buck than just about any other luxury car on the market. And make no mistake, the LaCrosse CX is definitely a luxury vehicle.
With 200 horsepower at 5,200 rotations per minute, the 2008 LaCrosse CX definitely has spunk to spare. Its 3.8 liter 3800 SFI Series III V-6 engine makes getting from Grandma’s house in the country to the hot concert in the city just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. Best yet, all of this traveling can be done on the cheap, thanks to the 17 miles per gallon the LaCrosse CX will get in the city. On the open road of the highway the performance is even better, at 28 miles per gallon.
The four wheel independent Premium Ride suspension featured in the ‘08 LaCrosse CX is worth noting, as is the Enhanced Traction System powertrain-modulated traction control. Five passenger cloth seating comes standard, but with an interior so beautiful there really isn’t much need to upgrade. The driver’s seat has a six way power control and Buick exclusive QuietTuning keeps the cabin sound free, even on rough roads.
Finally, as with every automobile that they produce this year, Buick’s 2008 LaCrosse CX comes standard with OnStar, XM Satellite Radio, 100,000 mile/five year Roadside Assistance (that’ll save owners hundreds of dollars that would have otherwise gone to AAA) and a four year/50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Also included is the world famous Advanced Safety System that provides peace of mind to Buick owners everywhere. With so much to offer, why would anyone buy anything else?
