With regard to towing capacity, a six-cylinder Envoy can tow approximately 5,800 pounds while V8 can tow up to 6,600 pounds.

The 2008 Envoy comes with a comfortable cabin that can carry five passengers. The rear seat is split 60/40 and can be folded to accommodate more load, making the Envoy’s maximum cargo capacity at 80 cubic feet.

Safety is also at the top of the list of this SUV. All trim levels come standard with antilock brakes, stability control and head curtain airbags providing maximum protection to all passengers. The Envoy earned five stars for its protection of front and rear passengers in the side-impact test conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
