The 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid offers an impressive gas mileage, standard electronic stability system, 6,000-lb towing capability, attractive dashboard design, and wide seating capacity. This new model also comes with a gas-electric V8 drivetrain and available in 4WD.
The ‘08 Yukon Hybrid is the first full-size SUV to feature a full hybrid system specifically a “two-mode” hybrid system that allows the Yukon to inch along on electric power only in city driving and shuts down completely when it comes to a full stop to conserve energy. Meanwhile, the electric motor provides extra acceleration boost in highway cruising while an engine computer helps to optimize the gas engine. It comes standard with driver and passenger airbags with sensor, and side head curtain airbags. Side guard door beams and vehicle theft tracking system are also available.
