The new 2008 Infinity FX has been said to possess strength and balance born of sports-car inspired architecture and that, is combined with many features offering technology and convenience. This model is available with either a V6-engine that generates 275-horse power, or a V8-engine with 320-horse power.
Adding to the powerful engines is a high-performance platform, which centers most of the vehicle’s weight between the front and rear wheels to deliver quick steering response and precise balance through curves.
Though sleek, this model keeps safety at the top of the priority list. There’s an advanced airbag system, including dual front restraints and passenger sensors to avoid unnecessary deployment. Also, The ‘08 FX includes features like advanced braking that applies maximum brake force in emergencies, and Vehicle Dynamic Control, which applies brake force to individual wheels and also improves traction even in bad road conditions.
This Infiniti is one to look at. Exterior features like its black or aluminum roof rails, rear spoiler and dual chrome exhaust finishers contribute to the attractive style of this model. Looking inside, passengers are kept comfortable with the dual-zone automatic temperature control with filtration and heated front seat, wrapped in leather.
Entertainment also is abundant, with the FX’s 300-watt Bose system that has AM/FM radio, in-dash, single-feed 6-disc CD auto-changer with MP3 playback capability and 11 speakers. Satellite radio capability also is available.
Features like the FX’s rearview monitor, which uses a camera view that shows objects that may be unseen behind the vehicle to assist the driver in parking, shows this model is one of innovation.
Infiniti’s 2008 FX puts together a classy package of safety, convenience and technology, making it a ride most buyers will at least take a second look at this year.
