The 2008 Jaguar X-TYPE 3.0 is said to deliver true performance in a compact package, and its V6-engine generates 227-horse power to get the job done. This model also uses a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The ‘08 X-TYPE 3.0 also offers several standard safety features, including seat-mounted side-impact airbags for front occupants and a passenger sensor to avoid unnecessary deployment, LATCH attachments for child-restraint safety installation and rear head restraints.
This model couldn’t be so stylish without features like a chrome leaper hood ornament, silver roof rails and dual tailpipes with bright-finishers. Adding to convenience are a one-touch moonroof with a power-tilt and slide function, and manual sunshade, along with rain-sensing windshield wipers.
Providing comfort and style on the inside are features like the X-TYPE 3.0’s 70/30 split-fold rear seat, leather-trimmed seating surfaces and automatic climate control with filtration. As for the audio system, a 120-watt system comes standard, and that includes AM/FM with a single in-dash CD player. A320-watt Alpine system is also available, as is Bluetooth wireless technology for added convenience.
Features like the X-TYPE 3.0’s Electronic Brakeforce Distribution system, which uses sensors to detect if a rear wheel is about to lock under braking, adjusts to correct the situation, adding even more security to this vehicle. This system works with the anti-lock brakes, which maintain control under hard braking and all weather conditions. The ABS help control the vehicle, avoiding skidding in bad conditions.
Jaguar’s 2008 X-TYPE 3.0 is safe, innovative and convenient, making it one of the most appealing models for this year.
