The LX provides four inches more of length from its predecessors which help make this new model more comfortable due to its additional cabin space. Moreover, it provides enough legroom though its third-row seat is the same as other crossover SUVs with their cushions close to the floor. Meanwhile, the second-row seat is split 40/20/40 and the outboard segments power-slide forward to provide access to the third-row. On the other hand, the third-row seat is split 50/50 and its halves fold upward along the side walls.

The 2008 LX possesses a luxurious interior and offers many standard features like touch-screen navigation with real-time traffic information and a premium stereo with XM Satellite Radio. Buyers may also opt for an upgrade which adds a 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system with surround sound and a hard disk drive, heated rear seats, heated and cooled front seats, parking sonar alert, adaptive cruise control and a backseat DVD video system with a 9-inch screen.

Under the hood, the LX houses a 5.7-liter V-8 engine generating 381 hp with a torque rating of more than 400 pound-feet. It also comes with a new transmission of six-speed which allows this impressive model a towing capacity of 8,500 pounds. Meanwhile, it also offers a suspension made up of air springs and adaptive shock absorbers that guarantee comfort, maneuverability, and superb road performance.
