The new 2008 Mercedes-Benz E350 Sedan is safe, convenient and advanced, with features that also ensure an enjoyable ride. The impressive Tele-Aid system comes in handy in the event of an accident, as it allows for 24-hour live assistance for emergency aid, and there’s also the PRE-SAFE feature, which prepares occupants for a collision before it even occurs.
Other features contributing to the safe feel of this model include dual-stage airbags that protect front occupants, window curtain airbags for side-impact protection and an Occupant Classification System that avoids unnecessary deployment if a passenger is not present. LATCH attachments also are included, showing this model was designed with the family in mind, as it helps secure child seats.
The ‘08 E350 Sedan’s V6 engine gets 268-horse power, and using a 7-speed automatic transmission, includes electronically controlled shifting. There’s also sequential fuel injection, which allows for some savings while at the gas pump. This model gets an average 24 mpg on the highway.
Working on the striking appearance of this Mercedes-Benz are features like a power tilt/slide tinted sunroof and halogen headlamps. Other convenient features include light-sensing headlamps and rain-sensing intermittent wipers that measure rainfall and adjust wiper speed and frequency accordingly.
Inside, dual-zone climate control with individual controls for the driver and front passenger provide comfort, as well as power adjustable front seats that have 3-position memory and lumbar support. Also impressive on the interior in the E350 Sedan is the multifunction steering wheel, which provides additional controls for basic audio and Bluetooth functions.
The 2008 E350 Sedan from Mercedes-Benz is practical, safe and reliable, and will likely be a popular purchase this year.
