The 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis is a full-size sedan packed with impressive features and available in two trim levels. Buyers may also choose from a variety of options offered in each trim level.
The ‘08 Grand Marquis come sin GS and LS trims. The GS is equipped with 16-inch steel wheels with faux chrome wheel covers, air-conditioning, a CD player, a front bench seat with power adjustments for the driver, cruise control, automatic headlamps, full power accessories and keypad entry. All trims are powered by a 4.6-liter V8 coupled to a four-speed automatic that gives 224 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy is approximately 15 mpg city and 23 mpg highway.
Standard safety features of the Grand Marquis are antilock disc brakes while other options include traction control, power-adjustable pedals, and front seat-mounted side airbags. The Grand Marquis received five stars in frontal-impact crash protection tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
