2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor ReviewThe 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor is a midsize crossover SUV with impressive during performance and a perfectly balanced weigh ideal for daily errand-running and commuting. It also comes with several standard and new features plus two trim levels to choose from.

The ‘08 Endeavor is available in LS and SE trim levels which are both either front- or all-wheel drive. The LS comes standard with 17-inch wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt steering wheel, cloth upholstery, full power accessories, keyless entry and a six-speaker audio system with CD player. On the other hand, the SE includes leather upholstery, a power driver seat, a trip computer, heated front seats, a flip-up glass rear window and a nine-speaker Rockford Acoustics stereo with six-CD changer and satellite radio. Other options for the SE are a sunroof and navigation system while a towing package and power steering fluid cooler.

This vehicle can accommodate five people with well-shaped seats and attractive interior design. Its dash has a cool blue lighting too. Materials inside the cabin are also of high quality while its cargo capacity is at 76 cubic feet. However, a rear DVD player is no longer available for this new model.

The Endeavors are run by a 3.8-lityer V6 engine which gives 225 horsepower and generating 250 pound-feet of torque available in a four-speed automatic transmission only. The front-wheel-drive model has below average mileage figures with 16 mpg city and 22 mpg highway while the all-wheel-drive model has 15 city and 20 highway.

Standard safety features like antilock disc brakes, traction control, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags are present in all Endeavors. Based on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration frontal crash testing, the Endeavor was able to achieve five stars for driver protection and four stars for the passengers. It also earned five stars in side-impact testing.

With its standard and new features coupled with a strong engine performance, the 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor performs fairly well with other vehicles of its kind.
