The all new 2008 Saab 9-5 Aero Sedan is a combination of reliability, convenience and safety. It has several features also showing innovation. This year’s model as an impressive, standard Night Panel function which makes driving at night easier. At the push of a button, the system blanks out the entire instrument panel excluding the speedometer. When a function requires the driver’s attention, the relevant instrument lights up.

The ‘08 9-5 Aero Sedan is equipped with a 2.3-liter, 4-cylinder high output turbocharged engine that produces 260-horse power and uses a 5-speed Sentronic automatic transmission, with a 5-speed manual gearbox also available.

Safety and security both are abundant in this model. The standard Traction Control System is designed to distribute drive force to the wheel with the best grip, helping to reduce the risk of slipping when accelerating on slick surfaces. If desired, the system can be switched off.

Metallic trim and leather-appointed sport seats with two-tone upholstery move style to the interior, and premium natural leather is optional in this model. The 9-5 Aero Sedan comes standard with an AM/FM radio with nine speakers, MP3 playback capability, satellite radio, and a 6-disc in-dash CD changer. A DVD-based navigation system with a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer is optional.
