2008 Saab 9-5 Aero SportCombi ReviewThe 2008 Saab 9-5 Aero SportCombi is both innovative and reliable, with features also offering convenience and safety. This year’s model has a Parking Assistance Program that shows additional views of behind the vehicle, helping the driver maneuver in tight spaces. The system is helpful because it shows objects that might otherwise be unseen.

The ‘08 9-5 Aero SportCombi is equipped with a 2.3-liter, 4-cylinder high output turbocharged engine that produces 260-horse power. It uses a 5-speed Sentronic automatic transmission, and a 5-speed manual gearbox is optional on this model.

This Saab has several features adding to safety and security, including the standard Traction Control and Anti-lock Braking System, as well as Electronic Stability, which can sense if the vehicle skids or slides by an unusual steering motion, and corrects the vehicle by applying brake pressure, and getting the car on its intended path of travel.

Aerodynamic headlamps with a halogen projector beam or optional xenon beam, 17-inch, five-spoke high-split alloy wheels and matte-chrome roof rails add to style in the 9-5 Aero SportCombi, while practical exterior features include undercoating and anti-corrosion treatment, a 6-jet high-pressure windshield washer and front and rear for lamps.

Inside, leather-appointed sport seats with two-tone upholstery and metallic trim make this a car that rides in style, while dual-zone automatic climate control with filtration and heated front seats add to comfort in the 9-5 Aero SportCombi. There’s also an auto-dimming mirror that includes a garage door opener and compass, allowing for directional navigation.

The new 2008 Saab 9-5 Aero SportCombi is attractive, innovative and secure, and is likely going to be one of the most appealing models this year.
