People looking to buy the 2008 Volvo S80 have several different options to choose from once they get to the dealership. To start, there’s the S80 3.2. Starting at $38,705, this model comes packed with tons of standard features, including front fog lights, a reinforced passenger compartment and a steering wheel with tilt and telescopic movement, illuminated cruise and audio controls.
The next model is the ‘08 S80 T6 with All Wheel Drive (AWD). This version starts at $42,045 and comes equipped with everything that the 3.2 version does, plus several more features that add to the design and overall quality of the base model.
For example there are watch dial instruments, Canicula 7 by 17 inch alloy wheels with Run-Fat, self supporting tires and visible dual exhaust tips. Of course, the most notable difference is the six-cylinder turbocharged engine. Despite being so powerful and quick to respond, the engine is highly evolved and complies with even the most stringent environmental standards, like California’s ULEV II.
The third, final and most high end S80 model is the V8 with AWD. This vehicle starts at $49,210 and has everything that the T6 has and then some. It is the only model that can come upholstered in Sovereign Hide in either Off Black (2400) or Sandstone Beige (2412). Additionally, it comes standard with a humidity sensor, classic wood inlays and a classic wood gear shift knob clad in either Charcoal or Soft Beige leather.
No matter which model of the 2008 Volvo S80 consumers decide on, they’ll be treated to a superior design, unsurpassed handling and all of the safety and security features that Volvo enthusiasts have come to expect from the company. This includes Volvo On Call Roadside Assistance for four years, free of charge.
