The 2009 Audi TTS is a looker, that is for sure. This great looking sports car is available in both coupe and as a convertible roadster, and has the horsepower to back up it’s striking good looks.
Audi’s TTS comes with a four cylinder, 2.0 liter turbocharged TSFI unit. It also includes a more substantial engine block, direct injection, and a new turbocharger. At 265 horsepower, the TTS has plenty of power for even the most throttle-thirsty drivers.
It was 10 years ago that Audi first unveiled the TT coupe, so the 2009 TTS is somewhat of an anniversary gift, if you will, to those that love this great little car.
In the safety department, Audi improved the rigidity of the TTS sub frame and included their amazing high performance braking system.
The magnetic ride adapts as you drive and automatically adjusts the feel and performance of the suspension to match the current driving conditions. While the normal ride is quite comfortable, you can “kick things up a notch” by engaging the Sport setting — which lowers the TTS body by 10 millimeters and enhances the car’s handling.
It certainly looks like Audi has hit another home run with the new 2009 TTS.
