The 2009 Cadillac DTS continues a DTS tradition of luxury drive, but with sporty performance. While the body weight of the DTS is not inconsiderate, the most remarkable thing about Cadillac’s engineering is the surprisingly light and responsive steering. Of course, this isn’t the only thing to get excited about, but it’s a key differentiator from the more considered response of other TS series cars.

As is expected, the DTS includes every bit of safety kit under the sun and then some which you might not have imagined. The 2009 DTS comes in three versions; the Luxury I, Luxury II and Luxury III. All three use a 4.6-liter V8 engine and 4-speed automatic transmission, but tune-ups result in 275 and 292 bhp respectively. When combined with the large 115.6 inch wheel base and highly responsive and smooth steering the DTS becomes a formidable force on the road.
