2009-chrysler-town-and-country.jpgChrysler makes some bold claims about its new 2009 Chrysler Town and Country minivan: No minivan offers better fuel economy than Town & Country, plus Town & Country is the most trusted minivan. They follow this up by advertising the 2009 Chrysler Town and Country’s five star frontal crash test rating. It certainly seems like a safe investment, but does it compare well with competing models for other features?

The 2009 Town & Country base model sports a 3.3-liter V6 and a 4-speed automatic transmission, while the basic engine leaves room for improvement, the upgraded 3.8-liter V6, which gives a more suitable power to weight ratio. Still, these are secondary issues for a family looking for a safe and efficient way to get about.

There are a lot of neat features and fittings packed inside the Town & Country, most notable is it’s clever seating arrangement and technologies called the Stow ‘n Go system, which has 2nd- and 3rd-row seats that fold flush into the floor and the optional Flexible Seating Group which includes Chrysler’s Swivel ‘n Go seating.

It looks good too, not that that’ll be a huge issue, but mums and dads will be pleased to note the easy clean fabrics. The 2009 Chrysler Town & Country really does fit the bill when it comes to family transport.
