The new 2009 Jaguar XF, a four-door sports sedan, puts performance to the test with its V8 engine that gets up to 420-horse power, using a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Headlamps, coming in halogen or bi-xenon, metallic paint and an electric glass moonroof make this Jaguar sedan one to look at, while it also contains convenient features such as LED tail lamps and a heated rear window. As sleek and sporty as the XF appears to be, it was designed with the family in mind. A standard feature that keeps children a priority are LATCH attachments for child-restraint safety installation.
The ‘09 XF has a Smart Key System, a smart feature that unlocks the door as the driver approaches, and there’s also push-button ignition, allowing the vehicle to start without first inserting a key.
This model is very safe as well, with standard features including active head restraints, dual-stage front airbags and seat-mounted side-impact airbags for front occupants, and a tire-pressure monitoring system that eases the driver’s mind during long trips as it alerts of low tire levels. The XF also is secure, with a security system, driveaway locking and valet function for glovebox and trunk security.
Features like front and rear parking aids, providing additional views that show objects that might otherwise be unseen, and adaptive cruise control that can adjust to surrounding traffic patterns, show that the XF is one of the more innovative rides out there.
Jaguar’s 2009 XF, which will be on the market this fall, is luxurious, smart, powerful and reliable, and is likely to be a top seller later this year.
