The RDX is chock full of features that run the gamut from practical to technologically advanced creature comforts, the vast majority of which come standard.

With plenty of seating for all, the ‘08 RDX is a sleek minivan replacement that will be the envy of soccer moms in every suburban neighborhood. Stylishly versatile, the RDX is also a great mode of transportation for hip younger consumers. The i-VTEC engine has a variable flow turbocharger that makes getting from point A to point B fun, fast and easy. With 240 horsepower and a 2.3 liter 16-valve engine has a redline at 6800 RPM and makes acceleration a breeze.

While standard dual-zone climate control keeps everyone aboard comfortable and XM satellite radio makes short work of long road trips, the rearview camera and HID headlights help to minimize scratches, dings and dents along the way. For consumers who live in states where driving and talking on a cell phone are legally mutually exclusive endeavors, a standard Bluetooth HandsFreeLink comes in handy.

The 2008 RDX also has one of the best navigation systems on the market today. While optional, it’s hard to comprehend why a buyer wouldn’t spend the extra cash for features like real-time traffic information, Zagat reviews and a destination database that is accessed by vocal commands.

The 2008 Acura RDX’s safety system are as advanced and complete as any in Acura’s lineup. RDX purchasers also benefit from Acura’s world famous ownership services that come standard and include a maintenance minder system, warranty, owner link and total luxury care that are second to none.

At 300 horsepower, the 2008 Acura MDX is the most powerful model made this year by the manufacturer. This generation of MDX is also the most luxurious sport utility vehicle that Acura makes, and after taking a look at the myriad of standard features it’s easy to see why. When one factors in all of the optional features that can be included at a slight additional cost, it’s a wonder there are any of them left on showroom floors.

The ‘08 MDX’s engine is truly something to admire: a 3.5 liter VTEC V-6, it has a dual-stage intake manifold, high-flow exhaust system, weight reduction and drive-by-wire throttle system. The transmission offers grade logic and shift hold control as well as sequential SportShift. SH-AWD, power distribution and direct yaw control round out some of the performance details. Best yet, all of the above come standard on the base model MDX, which costs $40,195.

While the Acura/ELS Surround premium sound system, entertainment package and navigation system with real-time traffic, Zagat reviews, destination database and voice recognition are all optional, the base model still comes packed with technology rich creature comforts. For example, power windows, moonroof, XM satellite radio, tri-zone climate control and center control panel multi-information display all come standard.

The 2008 Acura MDX is also one of the safest cars on the roads. Jam packed with airbags everywhere, this SUV also has Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and HID headlights. The body structure has been designed with pedestrian safety in mind, and an optional rear view camera minimizes scuffs, scratches and dings that can occur while parallel parking or backing out of a driveway. Crash testing proves it: in the event of an accident there’s no place safer.

In terms of new cars hitting the market this year, the 2008 Acura RL stands head and shoulders above the competition. Available in two trims: the regular sedan and the Elite Package, consumers will undoubtedly be pleased with the luxury, class and style that the 2008 Acura RL has to offer.

In terms of performance, it has everything that Acura lovers have come to expect: AWD handling, side impact and curtain airbags, front seat space with lots of comfort and a high level of visibility. The ‘08 RL’s tires seem to grab the road while driving, giving drivers a feeling of safety. Even on rough surfaces, those drinking hot beverages have nothing to worry about. All passengers will enjoy the fact that the ride will be whisper quiet thanks to sound minimization technology. The optional navigation screen on Acura’s new RL makes getting from point A to point B a breeze.

While even the most discriminating consumers will be pleased with both packages, the technology equipped 2008 RL has some really snazzy and unique features. Those who plan on getting into high speed chases will get a kick out of the Michelin run-flat tires, while drivers who prefer to take things slow will enjoy the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). With either versions owners will drive away with a 3.5-liter, V6, 225 horsepower engine under the hood that delivers 18 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.

From winding country roads to the autobahn, Acura’s 2008 RL delivers a performance that is worthy of vehicles twice its price. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of the RL is $63,900 and the RL Elite Package will cost buyers $69,500.

Although the 2008 Acura TL is one of the more affordable models produced by the manufacturer this year, it leaves consumers wanting nothing. From safety and security to luxury and convenience, this four door sedan has a little bit of everything, making it an excellent value for cost conscious consumers who like high end automobiles without the massive price tag.

As far as performance goes, a 3.5 liter V-6 engine, paddle shifters, suspension tuning, Brembo brakes and a high-flow exhaust system all come standard on the ‘08 TL, with an optional upgrade to a six speed manual transmission available. Still, all of that power doesn’t come at the expense of safety. For example, ABS, EBD and brake assist all come with the starting sticker price, which is $33,725.

That said, what makes a luxury car like Acura’s 2008 TL something special are the creature comforts that come along with such a high end brand name. Passengers and drivers alike will benefit from the automatic climate control in two different zones, as well as an above average air filtration system. If more than one driver will be taking the car out for a drive, personalized settings can make light work of adjusting the seat and mirrors. Optional voice recognition is a new and impressive bit of technology that has been added to this model and is sure to please.

A company that builds cars with safety in mind, Acura left no details overlooked with the 2008 TL model. A child safety LATCH system and anti-pinch system keeps families with small children secure, while dual-stage, dual-threshold front airbags combine with side and side curtain airbags to keep older passengers just as safe in the event of an accident. A sweet navigation and sound system round out some of the many notable features included.

Although the 2008 Acura TSX is the most affordable model in the line this year, even the most critical of luxury car consumers would be hard pressed to find a reason why. Backed by the quality brand name of Acura, this is one vehicle that is as reliable and dependent as it is luxurious and swank. No styling detail has been overlooked and from the interior to the exterior the car is sleek, classy and purposeful at every turn.

That said, it’s also a very practical car to own as well. For example, the i-VTEC engine with Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) offers precises, efficient fuel use. The six speed manual transmission allows users to enjoy up to 19 miles per gallon in the city and up to 28 on the highway for a combined rating of 22. If a five speed manual transmission is what the driver prefers, the fuel efficiency improves to 20 miles per gallon in the city and 28 on the highway for a combined rating of 23.

Like the more expensive Acura models this year, the ‘08 TSX features automatic dual zone climate control and a superior air filtration system. While voice recognition is a nifty optional feature, all purchasers will benefit from standard personalized settings that makes sharing the TSX less of a hassle.

As far as safety goes, Acura’s 2008 TSX is one of the best models on the market, period. Brake Assist and ABS will make slowing down as easy as speeding up while fog lights and HID headlights offer superior visibility in less than ideal conditions. In the event that there is an accident, all aboard will be protected by dual-stage, dual-threshold front airbas as well as side curtain and side airbags.
