The 2009 Audi TTS is a looker, that is for sure. This great looking sports car is available in both coupe and as a convertible roadster, and has the horsepower to back up it’s striking good looks.

Audi’s TTS comes with a four cylinder, 2.0 liter turbocharged TSFI unit. It also includes a more substantial engine block, direct injection, and a new turbocharger. At 265 horsepower, the TTS has plenty of power for even the most throttle-thirsty drivers.

It was 10 years ago that Audi first unveiled the TT coupe, so the 2009 TTS is somewhat of an anniversary gift, if you will, to those that love this great little car.

In the safety department, Audi improved the rigidity of the TTS sub frame and included their amazing high performance braking system.

The magnetic ride adapts as you drive and automatically adjusts the feel and performance of the suspension to match the current driving conditions. While the normal ride is quite comfortable, you can “kick things up a notch” by engaging the Sport setting — which lowers the TTS body by 10 millimeters and enhances the car’s handling.

It certainly looks like Audi has hit another home run with the new 2009 TTS.

Its novel parking system with rearview camera assists the driver in difficult parking situations, with features including a front and rear acoustic warning. An optional side assist system, which monitors the areas on both sides of the vehicle and behind it. When a vehicle is in your blind spot or rapidly approaching from behind, a warning light flashes in the exterior mirror to avoid mishaps.

The A8 L W12 proves its innovative characteristics with a voice control system that works with the DVD navigation, radio, CD changer and telephone. Too, there’s Bluetooth capabilities to avoid multi-tasking while on the road.

Working to create the sleek appearance of this model are features like this Audi’s Valcona leather interior and on the exterior, a power glass sunroof with slide and tilt features and pinch protection.

As in many other models, safety and family remain priorities. The A8 L W12 contains two stage front seat passenger airbags, along with side and knee protection and head restraints. The LATCH system lowers tethers and anchors for children. Its four-zone climate control system and heated seats ensure occupants’ comfort.

Its 450-horse power, V10 engine and max-out speed of 155 mph is proof of what it can do.

Such a powerful vehicle has to have protection for its passenger, and the S8 is more that sufficient in the safety department. It has front, side and knee airbags, along with head restraints for front and rear occupants. A tire pressure monitoring system provides even more security in the S8, as does a standard advanced anti-theft device.

It’s not only fast, but also striking. Adding to this look are 20-inch alloy wheels with summer performance tires, bi-xenon, high-intensity headlights and aluminum door sills with an S8 badge. The interior is suave as well with Valcona leather, and genuine wood decorative inlays in instrument panel, center console, and door panel. But more importantly, an Audi navigation system with DVD comes standard.

Audi’s 2008 S8 is something different, combining safety, technology and reliability. It surely will find a lot of happy owners this year.

Safety is important in the ‘08 RS 4 as it comes standard with many features, including dual front airbags with a passenger sensor, and a tire pressure monitoring system that alerts the driver of low levels with a tone. Children are not forgotten. The LATCH system lowers anchors and tethers for them in the rear seats.

The RS 4’S suave body style, joined with features like its distinctive model-specific exterior mirror housings and bi-xenon headlights make it a real traffic-stopper. Drivers’ minds are at ease with the remote locking system, which uses a fold-in ignition key with integrated controls.

Impressive new features on this convertible include the Electronic Stability Program, which monitors wheel speeds, slip angles and the position of the steering wheel. In doing so, ESP can apply brakes and reduce power to individual wheels until full traction and control is restored, making this sleek ride a safe one, too.

Also adding to safety are the A4 Avant Cabriolet’s standard advanced vehicle alarm system, and dual airbags for the driver and front passenger. Its novel close-ratio power steering allows for sporty handling, and high performance tires are available.

The A4 Avant Cabriolet’s look is gripping, thanks to many features including the acoustic convertible roof, Beige Birch wood decorative inlays and forged-alloy wheels.

Comfort is a must, and sometimes we don’t all agree. This isn’t a concern in the A4 Avant Cabriolet with its dual zone air conditioning with climate control, including separate controls for the driver and front passenger and active charcoal filter. This model also keeps audio high on the priority list, with a standard AM/FM stereo with 6-disc in-dash CD changer and satellite capability. WMA/MP3 playback and Bluetooth options also are available.

The A4 Avant Cabriolet’s driver information display includes a five-function trip computer, outside temperature display, among other indicators. The power level of this model depends on the driver’s taste. Fast, or, well faster. Options include a 200-horse power, 2.0-liter, or 255-horse power, 3.2-liter engine.

Audi’s 2008 A4 Avant Cabriolet combines sleek appearance, technology and safety, making it to be on a lot of want lists this year.
