<p>The &#8216;08 Envoy is an SUV designed with the capability and towing capacity of a traditional truck. It offers a choice of rear- or four-wheel drive with capable engines and superb handling dynamics.</p>
<p>This midsize SUV comes in three levels namely SLE, SLT and Denali. The SLE trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone air conditioning, a CD player, satellite radio, full power accessories, keyless entry and OnStar telematics. Meanwhile, the SLT adds a power driver seat with memory, a trip computer, automatic climate control, leather seating and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. However, special honeycomb grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, a load-leveling rear suspension, power-adjustable pedals, heated seats, a power passenger seat and a Bose audio system are all available in the Denali trim level.</p>
<p>When it comes to engines, SLE and SLT trims are powered by a 4.2-liter inline-6 generating 291 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. On the other hand, the Denali has a 5.3-liter V8 with 302 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque. With regard to towing capacity, a six-cylinder Envoy can tow approximately 5,800 pounds while V8 can tow up to 6,600 pounds.</p>
<p>The 2008 Envoy comes with a comfortable cabin that can carry five passengers. The rear seat is split 60/40 and can be folded to accommodate more load, making the Envoy’s maximum cargo capacity at 80 cubic feet.</p>
<p>Safety is also at the top of the list of this SUV. All trim levels come standard with antilock brakes, stability control and head curtain airbags providing maximum protection to all passengers. The Envoy earned five stars for its protection of front and rear passengers in the side-impact test conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.</p>

For 2008, the Savana comes with an upgraded design, impressive new features, and strong powertrains that make it very appealing to large families.</p>
<p>The 2008 Savana full-size van has a standard wheelbase of 135 inches and comes in either half-ton or 1500 configuration or 1-ton or 3500 configuration. It has two trim levels namely the LS and LT. LS models come standard with air-conditioning, an AM/FM stereo and a theft-deterrent system. On the other hand, LT models add an auxiliary rear air-conditioning  and heating, power windows and door locks, cloth upholstery, cruise control, a tilt steering wheel and keyless entry. Meanwhile, power driver and front-passenger seats, alloy wheels and an improved audio system with an in-dash six-disc CD changer are also available.</p>
<p>The &#8216;08 Savana 1500 models are powered by a 5.3-liter V8 producing 301 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, Savana 3500 models use a 6.0-liter V8 generating 323 hp and 373 lb-ft of torque. All 1500 models use a four-speed automatic while 3500 models have a stronger version of this transmission. With regard to towing capacity, 1500 models can tow 6,300 pounds while 3500 can pull up to 7,600 pounds.</p>
<p>The Savana’s interior is simple and practical. All controls are easy to use and within reach of the driver. This vehicle may have 60/40-split driver-side doors and comes standard with 12 seats, with eight- or 15- passenger arrangements. Moreover, it has a newly designed steering wheel, switch gear and instruments made from quality materials.</p>
<p>Safety features including antilock disc brakes, stability control and side curtain airbags for the first three rows are standard in all models. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2008 GMC Savana five stars in frontal-impact crash tests.</p>
<p>The 2008 GMC Savana guarantees convenience and protection while providing passengers a respectable ride performance through its impressive features, handling characteristics and attractive body frame.</p>

<p>The &#8216;08 Yukon Hybrid is the first full-size SUV to feature a full hybrid system specifically a “two-mode” hybrid system that allows the Yukon to inch along on electric power only in city driving and shuts down completely when it comes to a full stop to conserve energy. Meanwhile, the electric motor provides extra acceleration boost in highway cruising while an engine computer helps to optimize the gas engine. These contribute a lot to the Yukon Hybrid’s fuel-efficiency quality.</p>
<p>The center display screen of the 2008 Yukon Hybrid features an animation showing the flow of power through the hybrid drivetrain. It also include a gas mileage meter in its gauges. Moreover, it comes standard with three rows of seats which have leather upholstery, power front seats and a navigation system. A rear-seat entertainment system with a flip-down screen is also available.</p>
<p>Comfort and convenience features of the Yukon Hybrid include dual-zone front automatic air conditioning, XM AM/FM satellite radio, and warning indicators for engine temperature, battery , oil level, coolant and door ajar. It is also equipped with a tilt steering wheel and front dual sun visors. It also offers dual illuminated vanity mirrors, solar- ray rear deep tinted glass and solar- ray front tinted glass and a rear window defroster.</p>
<p>Safety is provided by 4-wheel-anti-lock brake systems, center high mounted stop light, ignition security, dual airbags and an electronic stability system with rollover mitigation. It comes standard with driver and passenger airbags with sensor, and side head curtain airbags. Side guard door beams and vehicle theft tracking system are also available.</p>

<p>The &#8216;08 Yukon has two available trim levels namely the base SLE and the SLT. The SLE trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, foglamps, full power accessories, front bucket seats with a console, OnStar telematics, keyless entry, a six-way power driver seat, dual-zone air-conditioning, a trip computer, and an eight-speaker CD audio system with satellite radio, an auxiliary input jack and rear-seat controls. Meanwhile, SLT1 adds leather seating, triple-zone automatic climate control, a six-disc CD changer, power-adjustable pedals, remote vehicle start, rear parking assist and the “Turn-by-Turn” navigation feature for the OnStar. <p>The &#8216;08 Sierra 1500 is a half-ton full-size pickup available in three body styles namely the standard cab, extended cab and crew cab. Standard cabs may have a standard bed of 6-foot, 6-inch or a long one of 8 feet. On the other hand, extended cabs can have a short 5-foot, 8-inch bed, standard or long beds. Meanwhile, crew cabs have only short beds.</p>
<p>The Sierra 1500 comes in different trim levels. Regular cabs can be in base Work or SLE trims while the extended and crew cabs are likewise available in SLT trim. SL and Denali trims are also included in crew cabs only. Basic features like air-conditioning, a trip computer, OnStar, vinyl seating. A 40/20/40-split front bench seat, a CD/MP3 player with an auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio and a tilt steering wheel are provided in Work trim. The SLE1 adds cruise control, cloth seating with adjustable driver lumbar support, full power accessories, keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. However, SLE2 gives you alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, front bucket seats and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls.</p>
<p>SLT trim possesses all the equipment mentioned with additional rain-sensing wipers with heated washer fluid, a Bose audio system with six-disc CD changer, leather seating, remote engine start, dash design with wood or metallic accents, 12-way power, heated front seats and rear audio controls among its features. On the other hand, the Denali trim outranks the rest with its powertrain, on-road-biased suspension tuning, special wheels, exterior design, a heated steering wheel and a turn-by-turn navigation for OnStar.</p>
<p>When it comes to engines, work trucks are powered by a 4.3-liter V6 with 196 hp and 260 pound-feet of torque as standard. SLE trims may have a 4.8-liter V8 generating 295 hp and torque of 305 lb-ft or a 5.3-liter V8 of 315 hp and 338 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the 5.3-liter engine is standard in the SLT trim. The Denali uses a 6.2-liter V8 with 403 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. All Sierra pickups except the Denali have a four-speed transmission equipped with a to/haul mode. The Denali has a six-speed automatic transmission instead.</p>
<p>Interior features of GMC&#8217;s &#8216;08 Sierra provide superb comfort especially with its fine ergonomics and adequate storage. A satellite radio is now a standard equipment in all trims too.</p>
<p>Safety is guaranteed with antilock brakes, stability control system with roll-mitigating technology, side curtain airbags, and adjustable pedals. The 2008 GMC Sierra earned five stars for protection of front occupants in head-on collisions based on government crash tests.</p>

<p>The &#8216;08 Acadia is available in only one body style. This body style includes a wide track and long wheelbase. Its base form comes with a front-wheel drive while you may also opt for an all-wheel drive.</p>
<p>The GMC Acadia is also available in three trim levels namely SLE-1, SLT-1, and SLT-2. Each of these model comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that can generate 275 horsepower and 251 pound-feet of torque. In addition, all trim levels come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission.</p>
<p>Interior features include cruise control, full power accessories and front and rear air-conditioning for superb comfort. Meanwhile, the base stereo is a six-speaker sound system with an in-dash CD player and MP3 playback which provide entertainment for the whole family especially during long trips. However, the SLT-1 and SLT-2 trim levels have a premium 10-speaker Bose system with a six-CD in-dash changer. In addition, other features include leather upholstery, heated front seats, power seats and tri-zone automatic climate control.</p>
<p>Acadia can accommodate up to eight passengers making it one of the roomiest crossover utility vehicles of its kind. Second-row seats are captain’s chairs but you may also ask for a 60/40-split-folding bench. The second-row seats are also convenient since they provide easy access to the third-row seats. In addition, enough luggage room is also provided behind the third row.</p>
<p>Other features of the &#8216;08 Acadia include a full array of airbags, stability control with roll mitigation and antilock disc brakes which provide superior protection and security.</p>

<p>The &#8216;08 Canyon is available in standard cab, extended cab and crew cab configurations. Standard and crew cab Canyons have four standard-sized doors with 60/40-split-folding rear seat that can accommodate three passengers. Meanwhile, the extended cab model features two reverse-opening  doors and rear jump seats. Three trim levels including WT, SL, and SLE models. The WT and SL models have the same features like air-conditioning, cruise control and an AM/FM stereo. However, the SL uses cloth upholstery while the WT uses vinyl. The SLE models have an improved stereo and upholstery. Buyers also have options like a sunroof, side curtain airbags and satellite radio. Suspension packages are available in Z71 for superior off-road performance similar in 4WD trucks and the ZQ8 for on-road handling found in 2WD trucks.</p>
<p>The 2008 Canyon has two available engines. Standard on all Canyons is a 2.9-liter inline four-cylinder engine that generates 185 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. Another one is the more powerful 3.7-liter inline five-cylinder engine that produces 242 hp and 242 lb-ft of torque. Five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmissions are also offered. Buyers may also choose between two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive systems. The four-wheel drive system includes a dual-range transfer case and push-button controls.</p>
<p>Safety features of the Canyon consist of frontal, driver and right-front passenger airbags with passenger sensing system, daytime running lamps, theft deterrent systems and OnStar telematics system.</p>
<p>The new 2008 GMC Canyon is affordable, fuel-efficient, and provides a quiet ride for the whole family. Its stylish exterior consisting of square jaw and broad-shouldered stance helps make it very attractive to buyers.</p>
