Not only is it fast, but this Mercedes-Benz is also nice to look at. Features contributing to the look include blue-tinted glass, halogen front foglamps and a power tilt/sliding tinted-glass sunroof with one-touch express-open/close and memory. Other exterior features, that make the ‘08 CLS63 AMG Coupe practical, include heated windshield washer nozzles, driver-selectable light-sensing headlamps and rain-sensing wipers that measure rainfall on the windshield, and adjust wiper speed and frequency according to that estimation.

With a V8 engine generating 382-horse power, high performance comes easily in this ride. With this model’s striking features, coupled with the V8 engine that produces 382-horse power, this is a ride that is going places. The ride also has direct fuel injection, which can boost fuel economy. The ML550 SUV gets 18 mpg on the highway.

AMG front and rear bumpers, running boards, black protective-coated roof rails and halogen headlamps all contribute to the classy, yet sporty look of this Mercedes-Benz SUV, while convenient features include programmable daytime running lamps with auto-on override in darkness, rain-sensing wipers and dual-heated power mirrors.

Safety remains a priority, as is the case in other Mercedes-Benz models. Features include the Universal LATCH System, which helps secure child safety seats, active front head restraints and dual-stage airbags for front occupants. There’s also an Occupant Classification System that avoids unnecessary deployment by determining the presence of a passenger. The Tele Aid system provides 24-hour live emergency aid by engaging an SOS function if an airbag is deployed.

Features that provide comfort to passengers inside include MB-Tex upholstery and heated front seats, as well as dual-zone climate control with filtration. A leather-trimmed steering wheel and polished Burl Walnut wood trim is found on the console and doors, and aluminum trim is on the console assist handles.

Entertainment availability is impressive, with an 8-speaker audio system with automatic vehicle-speed-sensitive volume adjustment. Satellite radio capability and navigation also are available.

Mercedes-Benz put together a package of technology, convenience and safety in the ‘08 ML550 SUV, and with its high-power engine, this ride might be one of the most appealing models out there this year.

Form and function are engaged in a dramatic relationship in the new 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 Roadster. Its sleek appearance is coupled with its V6 engine that produces 268-horse-power, and also has a torque level of 258 lb-ft. This car also uses rear-wheel drive and a standard 7-speed automatic transmission with electronically-controlled shifting, making the ride even smoother.

Fuel economy is impressive at 23 mpg on the highway, and adding to that is the fuel and ignition system, using direct ignition, a system that can boost fuel economy and add some savings at the pump.

Using an Integrated Restraint System, the ‘08 SLK350 Roadster keeps its occupants safe. The system includes front air bags, in addition to protection from side-impact and there’s also a knee airbag. Emergency Tensioning Devices, which do not deploy if safety belts aren’t fastened, are used as well, and can protect in rollovers. Tele Aid Automatic Collision keeps the lines of communication open with emergency aid, 24 hours a day.

If riding in style is a concern, look no further than this roadster. Exterior features contributing to the striking appearance include 17-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels, a Formula 1-style nose with color-keyed grille crossfins and Electrohydraulic retractable steel hardtop. On the hardtop, one button lowers or raises the top and all four windows. There’s also convenient dual aero-blade windshield wipers and projector-beam halogen headlamps with clear high-impact lenses.

Providing comfort on the inside of this car are features like the tunnel mode, which offers one-touch closing of all windows and cabin air intake by holding the air-recirculation button. There’s also dual-zone climate control and manual sport seats with a silver-painted magnesium frame.

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 Roadster puts together a nice package of safety, power and style, making it a car that will be hard to pass up for the luxury car buyer this year.
