<p>The &#8216;08 Grand Marquis come sin GS and LS trims. The GS is equipped with 16-inch steel wheels with faux chrome wheel covers, air-conditioning, a CD player, a front bench seat with power adjustments for the driver, cruise control, automatic headlamps, full power accessories and keypad entry. On the other hand, the LS includes 16-inch alloy wheels, foglights, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, power seat adjustments for the front passenger, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rear-seat fold-down armrests, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated side mirrors, and an overhead console with a compass and Homelink garage door opener. Other options for these trims include a sunroof, heated front seats, upgraded audio system with a CD changer, chrome wheels, chrome-trimmed mirrors, cashmere leather seats and rear air suspension.</p>
<p>The Grand Marquis provides a very spacious cabin which can accommodate up to six people. It also features easy-to-use controls and instruments for the convenience of the driver. In addition, its trunk has 20.6 cubic feet of space.</p>
<p>All trims are powered by a 4.6-liter V8 coupled to a four-speed automatic that gives 224 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy is approximately 15 mpg city and 23 mpg highway.</p>
<p>Standard safety features of the Grand Marquis are antilock disc brakes while other options include traction control, power-adjustable pedals, and front seat-mounted side airbags. The Grand Marquis received five stars in frontal-impact crash protection tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.</p>

<p>The &#8216;08 Mountaineer is a midsize SUV which is available in base and Premier trim levels. Both trims come standard with rear- wheel drive but buyers may also opt for an all-wheel drive. The base trim provides enough room to seat five and also includes 17-inch wheels, a six-way power driver seat, cruise control, full power accessories, a leather- wrapped tilt steering wheel with audio controls  and a CD player stereo with auxiliary audio jack.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, a Third-Row seat package which adds a fold-flat 50/50-split rear bench and auxiliary climate control is also available. On the other hand, the Comfort Package offers leather upholstery, heated front seats, a 10-way power driver seat, a six-way power passenger seat and dual zone climate control. The Premier trim comes standard with the third-row seat and other equipment offered by the Comfort package. A Third-Row Seat Elite package offered in this trim gives power-folding feature for the third row in addition to power-deployable running boards, rear parking assist, heated front seats, a navigation system, and a rear seat DVD entertainment system. Both trims are available with a Moon and Tune Elite package which adds a sunroof, upgraded stereo with in dash six-CD changer and satellite radio preparation.</p>
<p>The two-tone interior of this latest Mercury SUV help makes it very attractive. It has enough room for five to seven passengers. Five-passenger trims offer 5.8 cubic feet while 83.7 cubic feet of cargo space is provide by seven-passenger Mountaineers.</p>
<p>All Mountaineers are powered by a standard engine, a 4.0 liter V6 which gives 210 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque. The Premier trim level has an optional 4.6-liter V8 that generates 292 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque. V6 comes standard of a five-speed automatic transmission while V8 comes with a six-speed transmission.</p>
<p>Standard safety features include antilock disc brakes, stability control system with a rollover sensor, and airbags including front seat side airbags and first-and second row side curtain airbags.</p>
<p>The 2008 Mercury Mountaineer is an ideal family vehicle with its roomy cabin, powerful engine, excellent maneuverability and safety features. In addition, it is packed with innovative equipment that guarantees comfort and convenience for the whole family.</p>

<p>The &#8216;08 Mariner Hybrid is a compact SUV available in a four-door body style with a choice of either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, a power driver seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, an in-dash CD changer, an MP3 player input jack, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wood-grain interior trim, cruise control, full power accessories and a trip computer. Meanwhile, its Premium package offers a roof rack, rear parking sensors, heated leather seats, an upgraded seven-speaker audio system, a DVD-based navigation system with a hybrid energy fuel consumption display and a cargo cover.</p>
<p>All Mariner Hybrids are powered by a 2.3-liter gasoline engine with electric motors which generate 155 horsepower. All-wheel-drive transmissions are provided extra accelerating power by electric motors and also extra traction when necessary. The front-wheel-drive Mariner Hybrid offers 34 mpg city and 30 mpg highway while the all-wheel-drive version comes in 29 mpg city and 27 mpg highway.</p>
<p>The interior of this new model is accented with satin-finish faux aluminum, chrome, and wood-grain trim. It also has user-friendly controls and roomy backseat which provides enough comfort on long trips. In addition, there are 26.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats which can be increased to 66 cubic feet when rear seats are folded.</p>
<p>The Mariner Hybrid is equipped with all major safety equipment including  four-wheel antilock disc brakes, a tire-pressure monitoring system, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags with a rollover sensor. The backseat is also secured with three-point seatbelts and head restraints.</p>
<p>The 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid offers powerful speed and outstanding fuel mileage which help makes it an excellent choice for shoppers looking for a fast and reliable vehicle.</p>

On the other hand, the Premier features 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, leather seating, an in-dash CD changer, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and heated side mirrors with approach lamps.
